The UCLA California Center for Population Research (CCPR) (www.ccpr.ucla.edu) seeks candidates for a full-time tenure-track or tenured position in demography and population studies. This is an open rank appointment with rank depending on the candidate’s experience and record. Applicants must have an earned a Ph.D. or equivalent in a social science, public policy, public health, demography, or a related field. The appointment will likely be made in one or more of the major departments represented within CCPR (Community Health Sciences, Economics, Geography, Public Policy, Statistics, and Sociology). Candidates should have a strong, innovative research program, demonstrate success or potential for obtaining extramural research funding, and be able to teach population courses and mentor students from diverse backgrounds. The start date is negotiable, preferably Fall 2019. We will begin reviewing applications on October 1, 2018.
