Clover Valley Vet is excited to add a third veterinarian to complement our mixed animal practice on the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula in Washington State.
We are a young (started 2010), progressive, collaborative veterinary practice that has an established loyal and large client base. Our team is passionate about providing top-notch veterinary care with a smile! We have hand-selected our team members and built a practice that is fun, transparent, trust-worthy and inspiring. We love our job but we love our personal lives too. We understand the importance of providing a safe and supportive working environment that guides our team members to follow their hearts. It is also important to us to that our team members have work-life balance and to feel professional and personal satisfaction.
The practice provides ambulatory and haul-in services and treats 60% equine, 20% livestock and 20% companion animal. Within our community, we are considered a premium equine veterinary practice. We are also the leading livestock veterinary practice for a 60-mile radius and specialize in small ruminant medicine and surgery. It is not unusual for us to receive clients at our clinic that have traveled over 60-miles for our services.
Our practice provides 24/7 emergency coverage for large animal patients; we refer our companion animals to the local emergency hospitals. After hours emergency call is shared among ALL the veterinarians (including the owner). Veterinary assistants, licensed technicians, receptionists and office manager are on staff. As an official off-site teaching location for Washington State University, we receive veterinary student externs throughout the year as well.
We have a new veterinary clinic with administrative space and facilities for overnight and out-patient appointments. In the clinic, we have gas anesthesia, surgical suite, IM3 dentistry, digital dental radiology system, DR radiology for our smaller patients.
We love toys! Our shared mobile equipment includes: DR digital radiography, video endoscopy (1- and 3-meter), two ultrasounds, two Powerfloat dentistry setups, K-Laser Cube4, PRP, multiple cardiac monitoring systems, mobile cattle squeeze chute, StableLab, full in-house Abaxis laboratory and iStat, electronic records systems (Impromed). And our equipment list keeps growing! Each veterinarian has a fully equipped Honda SUV for ambulatory and emergency coverage.
Compensation structure is a set salary (adjustable based on performance and experience) with extra compensation for emergency coverage. Additional benefits include 401K, CE stipend, paid leave, professional liability insurance and dues/licenses, smart phone and laptop computer.
We are especially interested in the newly graduated veterinarian. We are hoping to mentor and mold this individual to seamlessly integrate with our practice team and philosophy. We are looking for a smart, fast-learning candidate with a positive outlook, friendly demeanor and team-oriented approach.
