The Covenant School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to teach Spanish at the high school level. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and will possess a thorough knowledge of the literature, art, architecture, geography, history, and culture of the Spanish-speaking world and the knowledge and willingness essential to teaching in a Christian Liberal Arts & Sciences program.
A strong command of spoken Spanish is a must as we strive to meet ACTFL’s recommendation of a 90% usage of the target language in the classroom. The candidate must be passionate about working with high school students and preferably have experience at that level. Given Covenant’s mission, candidates must also have the ability to share their Christian faith authentically in the context of their teaching.
