Rhode Island School of Design recognizes diversity and inclusivity as fundamental to its learning community and integral to an art and design education. We welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, scholarship, or service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence.
We are seeking a scholar whose work centers on issues of race and ethnicity and takes an intersectional approach to issues of social justice, political/economic inequality, and systems of oppression in the United States. We seek candidates who demonstrate quality undergraduate teaching, can teach broadly in their field, and represent various aspects of their discipline within the department.
