Major Work Characteristics :
Teaching (50%): Geography 2611 Geospatial Foundations, 2640 Human Geography, Urban-Regional Studies courses, or some combination thereof. A percentage of the teaching assignment can be reallocated based on grants and funded research.
Coordinator of YSU Urban and Regional Studies Program (50%): grant writing, community liaison with local and regional agencies engaged in economic, social, and environmental issues, direct in-house student internships to meet the data and development needs of local and regional agencies, develop workshops and seminars as outreach to local and regional governmental and non-profit agencies.
