Job Description Summary The Global Studies Department at Bentley University, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Comparative Public Policy/International Public Policy at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2020. We particularly welcome candidates with expertise in policy areas such as sustainability, development, and health—areas that complement existing programs and appeal to students at a business university.
The successful candidate will be asked to contribute to enhancing our two departmental majors - Public Policy and International Affairs - and to complement the department's existing strengths, which are grounded in political science, geography and cultural studies. While the position is open with respect to region, we especially welcome candidates whose work focuses on regions with emerging economies, particularly in Asia or Africa.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach core courses in public policy/international affairs and electives in their area of expertise.
Candidates must demonstrate evidence of a continuing research agenda focused on publication and a strong dedication to excellence in teaching, with preference for candidates with classroom experience. We especially welcome candidates who bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the classroom.
PhD required. (Requirements for your doctoral degree must be confirmed prior to the start of the fall 2020 semester.)
