The Client Development Manager, Executive Health is responsible for the daily planning, organizing, directing, and controlling of the practice operations associated with consultations and treatment for patients served by the Cedars-Sinai Executive Health program.
In this role, the incumbent serves as a liaison with corporate and independent Executive clients, health plans, and diverse Cedars-Sinai ancillary providers, including the Cedars-Sinai departments of Imaging, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and International Health. In this leadership role, the manager promotes the maximum growth and development of the program, strategic geographic and service expansion and participates in long and short-term planning. The manager reports to the Senior Operations Manager, Strategic Integration and assures patient advocacy and the highest standards of care and service. The manager guides staff in meeting customer's needs, consistent with the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network philosophy, mission, vision and strategic plan. The manager interacts with diverse Executive Health patients and corporate clients and ensures the competencies of the Executive Health team in exceeding consumer expectations for streamlined access, optimal clinical outcomes and experience.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Leads staff to achieve optimal outcomes by providing training and education, resulting in personalized and comprehensive coordination of services for all Executive patients, beginning with initial contact with the patient or corporate client through provision of services. * Partners with physician leadership to ensure coordination of referrals to other Cedars-Sinai clinicians, services, departments and programs. Ensures timely access and exceptional service resulting in a seamless experience of care. * Acts as primary liaison for addressing and resolving escalated issues related to consultations provided to the patient. * Supervises and monitors staff coordination of patient's progress and assures that their needs (clinical and personal) met. * Ensures that clinical and concierge staff are collaborating in providing the service(s) required to accommodate the needs of the Executive patients. * Participates in strategic planning to enhance service offerings to Executive patients, including the development of new geographies and access points for care (e.g. telemedicine, e-visits, direct scheduling) * Partners with International Health to provide excellent quality and service to the International patients, to include direct oversight of all services rendered by Executive Health. * Effectively manages staff throughout areas of oversight, including development of effective short- and long-term staffing plans, interviewing and hiring, cross-training of staff where appropriate and effective and oversight and management of productivity. * Assumes fiscal responsibility for areas of oversight, including budget preparation, expense control and revenue enhancement. Assumes responsibility for monitoring and responding proactivity to fluctuations in productivity, physician or patient schedules, changes in reimbursement and/or health plan requirements and environment. * Collaborates to develop business and operational plans for assigned areas, programs and services to ensure that organizational projects/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. * Provides leadership for the development of the International and Executive program collaboration. * Ensure compliance with State and Federal laws, professional and regulatory agency standards and licensure requirements. Maintains staff compliance with health system and Foundation policies, procedures and protocols * Consistently executes on leader standard work, meets requirements for Daily Engagement Systems, monitors organizational metrics with review and analysis in coordination with key workflow and staff observations to identify areas of opportunity. * Teaches and coaches staff on workflows including the creation of standard work and reference materials for staff. Perform huddles, Gemba, observations and meetings to enhance communication and quickly identify successes or areas of opportunity.
