UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Division of Neonatology, Department of Pediatrics Adjunct, HS Clinical, and Clinical X Faculty Series
The Division of Neonatology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco is recruiting neonatal hospitalists as full-time faculty members to the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks of the Adjunct, HS Clinical, and Clinical X faculty series.
Qualified candidates will possess a medical degree and license, Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics at the time of appointment. Clinical responsibilities will include the care of patients in the level IV intensive care nursery at the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco including some independent care of lower acuity patients, supervised care of high acuity patients, neonatal resuscitations, and possible participation in the neonatal transport team depending upon the candidate. Academic activities will relate to the candidate’s interests and may include clinical teaching and resident education, quality improvement, clinical investigation, etc. A proven ability to work collaboratively is an important preferred qualification for this position.
