Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ, seeks a physician for the position of Chief of the Division of Allergy, Immunology and Infectious Disease in the Department of Medicine. Minimum Education and Experience:
Candidates should possess an MD or MD/PhD degree, be board certified in Infectious Disease and have achieved the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
▪ Demonstrated success as a leader in an interdisciplinary institute, or of an academic division of comparable size and scope. Experience working with physicians in a variety of alignment models, employed, private and faculty, is essential. ▪ A strong record as respected clinician and established funded investigator. A history of academic achievement through excellence in teaching and research, as demonstrated by publications in high impact journals and peer-reviewed research of consequence. ▪ Experience in the development and successful implementation of new academic (educational, patient care, research) programs and services. ▪ A track record of demonstrable success working collaboratively within a highly matrixed reporting structure supporting a large academic or complex healthcare system. ▪ Demonstrated engagement with private practice community for mutual benefit in program development and patient care. ▪ Proven ability to build teams and collaborate across departments. ▪ Successful track record of recruitment and development of faculty, trainees, and students.
