We are searching for an experienced Geography 101 & Geography 102 at our Santa Maria Campus facility.
Allan Hancock College is accepting applications to establish a pool of qualified candidates for part-time Geography instructors for the fall 2021 semester. This is a face-to-face class.
Classes will be held in the afternoon and evenings at our Santa Maria Campus.
Geography 101- An introduction to the earth's physical geography, addressing the origins, patterns and interconnections of weather/climate, water, landforms, living systems and human culture.
Geography 102 - A historical perspective is used to explore our human role in shaping the earth's cultural landscapes. Globalization and cultural diversity are course themes.
Lecture Rate: $48.00 to $73.50 per hour depending upon education and experience
Lab Rate: $41.80 to $64.00 per hour depending upon education and experience
Activity and Non-Classroom Rate: $30.89 to $48.21 per hour depending upon education and experience
