The Division of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals are recruiting a faculty member to join our growing team at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank of the Adjunct, Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence faculty series. Academic rank is commensurate with experience.
Qualified candidates will possess a medical degree and license, Board Certification/Eligibility in Pediatrics and a demonstrated interest in the care of hospitalized children and medical education. Preferred qualifications include fellowship training in Pediatric Hospital Medicine or Board Certification/Eligibility in Pediatric Hospital Medicine, and a proven ability to work collaboratively across pediatric disciplines. Board Certification/Eligibility in Pediatrics is required at the time of application, however, the remaining qualifications must be met by time of hire. Clinical focus may include inpatient care on hospitalist or Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) service at a busy academic medical center with both day and night responsibilities or coverage at one of our community hospitals.
