Yale-NUS College is a highly selective liberal arts and science college in Singapore. The College is seeking to hire up to two full-time Lecturer positions to support teaching in the Urban Studies Major. Applicants should have expertise in either:
Architecture, Urban Design/Planning, with specific expertise in techniques of representation; or
Social aspects of urbanization from the disciplinary perspective of either Sociology, Geography or related discipline.
Specific expertise in Asian urbanisation is desirable, but not required.
These positions are on a two (2) year contract, starting in the academic year 2022-2023 with possibility of extension of up to one (1) more year, subject to good performance of the incumbent, and the College’s teaching needs.
The successful candidate is expected to teach up to five (5) courses in an academic year (2 semesters). Advising students in their Capstone will also be required, as needed.
