Stanford University’s two-year Diagnostic Neuroradiology Fellowship Program has an unexpected opening for July 1, 2022.

Stanford’s outstanding and highly competitive training program in Diagnostic Neuroradiology offers exceptional training in CT and MR imaging of the brain, spine, and head and neck in both adult and pediatric patients, as well as experience in diagnostic angiography, minimally invasive spine procedures (LP, myelography, CT myelography), and image-guided biopsy. Our 20+ CT and MR scanners are state-of-the-art and include PET-MR and dual-energy CT machines.

Fellows work at two world-class and modern hospital facilities, Stanford Hospital and Clinics and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, as well as at modern and state-of-the-art outpatient facilities.

In addition to clinical work, our division of 20+ faculty members in Adult Neuroradiology, Pediatric Neuroradiology, and Neurointerventional Radiology offers a robust educational program with lectures, case conferences, peer learning conferences, and a visiting professor program. Fellows participate actively in research, teaching, and/or quality improvement projects with faculty, and generous dedicated elective time for these activities is provided. Graduates of this program are highly sought after for competitive positions in academic neuroradiology and in private practice.

The first year of this fellowship is ACGME-accredited. During the second year of training, fellows function in part as Clinical Instructors, gaining experience in independent reading. Our program adheres to all GME, ACGME, and NRMP policies. Because this position is being made available due to an unexpected opening, it is offered outside the NRMP match program.
