The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition is recruiting for a full-time faculty position at the Associate Professor rank of the Clinical X faculty series. Academic rank is commensurate with experience.
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals is recruiting for a pediatric gastroenterologist with expertise in pediatric liver disorders including liver transplant and pediatric pancreatic disorders including TPIAT (total pancreatectomy with islet auto transplantation) to work with 25 other pediatric gastroenterologists in our program.
At least 10 years post fellowship training
CAQ-certified for pediatric transplant hepatology
Experience with islet cell auto transplantation in pediatric patients
Proven success in grant writing skills
Proven productivity in publication of both independent and collaborative research
Excellence in teaching
Spanish language proficiency preferred
