Position Summary: The Department of Latino and Caribbean Studies at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick, NJ invites applications for a scholar of the comparative Caribbean and its diasporas at the rank of Associate Professor. Seeking to complement existing departmental expertise on the Hispanophone insular Caribbean, we are especially interested in scholars who bring a comparative and transnational focus to the culture, politics, history, societies of Caribbean societies and communities marked by French, British, Dutch, and/or Danish colonization.
