The Department of Anesthesiology at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School, is seeking a Liver Transplant anesthesiologist for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level.
Duties include provision of anesthesia care to patients undergoing general and liver transplant surgeries in an anesthesia team model; supervision and education of residents, CRNAs, and medical students; work collaboratively with the members of the surgical services both clinically and administratively; participation in research that forwards the discipline both academically and clinically.
Qualified applicants must: 1. Have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2. Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of New Jersey, and 3. Be a BC/BE Anesthesiologist. Subspecialty training in Cardiothoracic anesthesia preferred, but not essential. Candidates on J-1 VISA are welcomed to apply.
The effective date of the appointment is July 1st, 2024 or earlier.
