The University of South Alabama Department of Earth Sciences invites applications for a full-time (12-month), non-tenure track Instructor position in Physical Geography, starting August 15, 2023.  The minimum education requirement to apply is a master's degree in Geography or a closely related field at the time of appointment.  A candidate with experience teaching in a class or lab setting and skills with GIS or Remote Sensing is preferred.  The candidate will assume responsibility for directing Physical Geography lab operations and potentially teaching an upper division class, focusing on the candidate's specialties.
